Our Story
Lean Solar was founded in 2017 with a simple premise: commercial solar installations function better and interconnect faster when a single engineering-led company coordinates both the structural design and the field layout.
What started as a solution to our own industrial energy bills became a business when regional property developers saw what we built and asked: "Can you design that for us?"
Today, Lean Solar is a custom developer, manufacturer, and installer serving commercial and light industrial clients across California, Arizona, Nevada, and Washington. We design every system from scratch, manufacture the structural components in-house, and install with our own pre-qualified field crews.

The Leadership
Saied Nemat
Saied founded Nemat Inc. in the early 2000s as a construction and engineering firm serving California commercial clients. Recognizing the need for bespoke engineering, he built Lean Solar to provide custom engineered solar systems. Saied holds multiple CA contractor licenses and oversees all major project decisions.

Our engineering team is staffed by structural and electrical layout designers who specialize in calculating utility load integration, wind load configurations, and physical site geometry.
Operations & Crews
